The rosemary in my garden has finally bloomed.
It doesn’t seem to get along with me very well—flowers rarely appear.
But this year, to my surprise, a few blossoms have emerged.
Not a profusion, but even a handful is enough to lift my spirits.

Perhaps because they’re both herbs, the flowers resemble those of mosquito-repelling geraniums (scented geraniums) in shape.
